“House on the River” was originally a full service fly-fishing lodge. Begun in 1996, it soon became the fishing destination for anglers on the Upper Sacramento River. Converted to a vacation rental in 2002, it is now a private facility.

Outside, the raised, wooden deck holds a sparkling spa and overlooks 15,000 sq. feet of manicured lawn. The barbecue area has a Weber grill, a gas grill, a charcoal grill, a smoker, and in season, a vegetable garden.
As a beautiful wedding venue, the ceremony space takes the form of an ancient Greek-styled pavilion which overlooks the Sacramento River in an exclusive and private setting. Complete with a 400 sq. ft. lit dance floor, staging area and a band/DJ platform, this wedding event location is truly one of a kind in the area. The lawn will accommodate up to 200 guests.
Purchase of this property will include all of the furnishings (except a few select antiques the seller can't bear to part with), appliances, and the equipment, supplies, chairs, tables, linens, etc. available for use by the rental customers and guests.
