Decorative verge boards are prevalent on the front gables. Randomly sized and spaced white stone quoins contrast sharply with the multi-colored brick facade. The style is loosely based on a variety of late Medieval English prototypes. Most of the interior rooms have curved plaster walls as there are no sharp corners between the walls and the ceiling. As completed, the master bedroom has specially commissioned wisteria vines painted by the artist, Whitney Snow.
