Our History
Since 1925, small cities and towns across America have relied on United Country Real Estate for all of their lifestyle real estate needs. It started as a vision to provide urban and suburban residents a “roadmap to the country” by Roscoe L. Chamberlain in August of 1925.

In 1928, the company produced the first ever national real estate catalog, which is housed in the Smithsonian Institution as a real estate marketing innovation. This innovation stayed alive and well as United continues to offer one-of-a-kind marketing tools ranging from thousands of leading websites, an in-house marketing team, national property advertising, exclusive real estate catalogs, a buyer database of more than 650,000 and more.

Today, United agents continue to be experts in marketing country homes, vacation properties, ranches, farms, recreational land, commercial properties and other properties located in the country.  Much has changed in United’s 90 year history, but the core vision remains the same.  As the nation’s largest network of traditional real estate and auction professionals, United continues to connect people to their dream properties coast-to-coast.
