Quarter Results and Addition of 29

April 19, 2006 – KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
United Country Real Estate has announced
the company’s
first quarter results for 2006.
Statistics released by Carl Hopkins,
chief financial officer for United
Country, indicate that the first quarter
of 2006 set several records for the
national franchise system.
Reports reveal that first quarter sales
volume was up 31 percent and average
sale price
increased six percent over the same
quarter in 2005. Additionally, first
quarter 2006 marks the
37th consecutive quarter that sales
volume exceeded the same period during
the previous year,
with January, February and March all
representing individual record-setting
months for
United Country.
The company’s website, unitedcountry.com,
logged record numbers in the first
quarter of 2006,
with March setting all-time best numbers
for the company. During March, the
company recorded more than 826,000 user
sessions and 23 million viewed pages.
Comparatively, the monthly
average in the fourth quarter of 2005
was 16 million viewed pages.
In terms of organizational growth, the
national franchise system added 29 new
franchise offices
in the first quarter of 2006, bringing
the current tally to 535 offices in 36
states. This represents a 16 percent
network growth since first quarter 2005.
