Industry-leading auction organization introduces new master auctioneer
designation course during three-day education event

May 29, 2014 (KANSAS CITY, Mo.) –– United Country Auction Services (UCAS), the nation’s largest integrated organization of auctioneers and real estate professionals, held its annual auctioneer conference on May 19-21 and launched its new United Country Master Auctioneer (UCMA) Designation Program. As the nation’s first auctioneer designation program offered by an international real estate franchise company, the course is tailored to advance the capabilities, proficiencies and knowledge of experienced auctioneers to improve their auction business performance and the consistent professionalism of the services delivered to clients.

More than 100 auctioneers and attendees from across the nation participated in the educational opportunities, including the chance to network with and learn from successful United Country top performing auctioneers and internationally recognized industry and subject matter experts. The sessions covered topics critical to successful auctioneers including state-of-the-art social media and search engine optimization, advanced business valuation theory and application, contract law, current trends in auction technology, best practices in professional bid calling, securing and managing strategic accounts, emerging market trends and property valuation. “The best, cutting-edge, forward thinking education I have received in my entire [25] year real estate auction career,” said Bill Eberhardt, United Country – National Realty & Auction. “United Country Auction Services develops courses like the UCMA to ensure we continue to be the leader in the auction industry.”

Attendees also heard from internationally recognized sales expert Sam Richter, who presented core materials from his Know More! sales training and business development book and program. Richter is best known for his knowledge of sales intelligence and online reputation management. His award-winning experience includes building innovative programs for startup companies and some of the world’s largest brands. The Know More! program aimed to help UCAS make better online business connections, increase sales leads and improve business relationships.
