Joan grew up in North East, Alabama and moved to Walterboro in 1977 with here late husband, Larry and their two children, Jeff and Shannon. She and Shannon ran a small business together for 6 years in the 1980’s. For the past 15 years Joan has owned and operated a wholesale interior design supply business throughout North and South Carolina, and Georgia.

Throughout her career, Joan retained a keen infatuation with residential real estate. Since 1978 she has been a licensed real estate agent. Recently she decided to, get off the road, go full-time into a real estate sales career in the Walterboro area with United Country, Joe Williams & Associates, Inc.

Although she still likes to travel occasionally, she especially likes to read and spend time with her granddaughters, Brittany and Elizabeth. Her considerable sales experience has been pre-dicated upon close attention to quality personal service for her clientele.
