Zanesville, in Allen County, is situated on the border of Allen and
Wells counties. It is served by US Highways 24 and 224, and
Interstates 69 and 469, about 16.7 miles to Fort Wayne and 73.1 miles
to South Bend.
The Allen County Fairground is a year-round facility hosting the
county 4H fair and a host of other family events like dances, rodeos,
craft and antique shows.
The Allen County Parks Department operates a
number of parks that include Fox Island County Park, Metea Park,
Cook's Landing County Park and Payton County Park.
The Rivergreenway Trail, a 15-mile-long trail along the banks of Fort
Wayne's 3 rivers, is ideal for bicycling, hiking, jogging or roller
