A United Country legend and leader, learn all about Angie Gallaher's journey with the company and what comes next for her.

After 14 years serving the United Country home office and nearly 38 years in real estate, Angie Gallaher is beginning a new chapter, stepping away from her role on the home office business consulting team to spend more time with family and return to what first built her career: serving clients as a real estate agent.

For many within the United Country family, Gallaher has been far more than a business consultant, trainer or colleague. She has been a friend, a steady voice, a trusted mentor, a fierce advocate for offices and agents and a living example of what it means to grow with a company while helping others grow along the way.

Gallaher’s story with United Country began long before her time at the home office. She started working in the Pocahontas, Arkansas office as a part-time secretary during her senior year of high school in 1988 and became a licensed real estate agent at just 19 years old. From those early days, she built a career grounded in hard work, practical experience and a deep understanding of the real estate business from the ground up.

In 2007, Gallaher opened her own United Country franchise in Imboden, Arkansas; she described it as a small community having roughly 800 people. When others doubted whether a real estate business could thrive in a small town, Gallaher proved what would become one of her defining beliefs: “It’s not about the size of the town you work, it’s how hard you work where you’re at.”

That mindset carried her through decades of change in the real estate industry. Gallaher began her career in an era of one-page, carbon-copy contracts, weekly printed confidential lists, home phone numbers printed in ads, direct mail, newspaper advertising, magazines and fax machines. Over time, she adapted through the rise of computers, email, websites, social media and now artificial intelligence. Her career reflects not only longevity, but the rare ability to keep learning, keep adjusting and keep teaching others how to move forward.

Among her proudest professional moments was winning the Genesis Award in 2011, an honor associated with marketing excellence. Gallaher recalled creating newsletters in Publisher before today’s modern tools existed, she embraced social media in its infancy and was an early adopter when it came to promoting her own brand and listings across the platform. She also organized a United Country Friends and Family Trail Ride that brought offices, friends and affiliates together for a long weekend of fellowship. She was also later recognized as an inventive trip winner multiple times. Her most memorable incentive trip was to Tahiti, which she described as “pretty amazing.”

Another early milestone came at her first United Country convention in Kansas City in 1993 when she had recently closed a $1.5 million row crop farm; a farm that today would have sold for around $15 million and was the largest transaction of her career at that point. Lou Francis, the former United Country president, called her on stage in recognition of that accomplishment, creating one of her earliest and most meaningful convention memories.

But when Gallaher speaks about what has mattered most, the conversation always comes back to people. She said the family culture of United Country is the constant that has remained through decades of change. The friendships formed at conventions, incentive trips, trainings and office visits became one of the most meaningful parts of her journey.

That sense of connection became central to her work at the home office. Gallaher joined the leadership team in 2012 in franchise sales and went on to serve as a trainer and business consultant. In those roles, she helped new offices get started, supported agents and brokers through challenges, taught best practices, shared lessons learned from her own experience and became a trusted resource for affiliates across the country.

She offered advice that carries the weight of true experience and taught from a career built from one relationship, one listing, one convention, one training session and one hard-earned lesson at a time. She understood the challenges because she had lived them and understood the opportunities because she had created them. She also understood the heart of United Country because she had been part of it from almost every angle.

As she transitions into this next chapter, Gallaher leaves behind a meaningful legacy within the home office and the larger United Country network. Her impact can be seen in the offices she helped onboard, the agents she encouraged, the brokers she guided, the trainings she delivered and the relationships she built across the country.

While this farewell marks the end of her official role on the business consulting team, it is not goodbye to United Country. Gallaher will continue her real estate career through the Ash Flat office, returning to the field with decades of knowledge, a lifetime of relationships and the same determination that has defined her career from the beginning.

Those who know Gallaher know that her story is one of resilience, faith, friendship and service. She built a career from humble beginnings, embraced change through every era of real estate, helped countless others succeed and carried the United Country spirit with authenticity and heart.

On behalf of the United Country family, we congratulate Angie Gallaher on an extraordinary career as an exemplary leader of the company, thank her for the many years she dedicated to supporting our offices and affiliates and wish her continued success, peace and joy in this next season. Her presence, wisdom and friendship have left a lasting mark, and her legacy will continue through the many people she helped, encouraged and inspired along the way.
