Hey Everyone, this is Caleb and Montana Whatley – The Whatley Team. We are a husband and wife team who love working together and have a passion for real estate. After working separately in Real Estate and Land Surveying we decided to take the knowledge we had through our own careers and create a real estate team that can help our friends, community, and new faces find their new spot in East Texas. We have been able to give the attention and knowledge of two agents to each client we work with. This has made the process of moving properties from listed to sold easier than ever for our clients!

Caleb was raised on his family’s East Texas ranch where he spent much of his free time hunting and fishing when he wasn’t busy in the hayfield or tending to livestock.  Growing up in this manner resulted in a love and appreciation for agriculture and the outdoors.  From a very young age Caleb shadowed his dad, Brian, as he worked in the field of forestry and later real estate sales.  This experience further cultivated his passion for rural real estate.  After graduating high school Caleb attended Tyler Junior College and received his AAS in Land Surveying and Mapping Technology; after which he attended Texas A&M University and graduated with his BS in Geographical Information Science and Technology (GIST).

Newly married to his wife Montana, they moved back to Cass County, TX where Caleb continued pursuing his land surveying license. With a desire to work with his family, Caleb joined the United Country | Double Creek Land and Homes office as a licensed real estate agent after working in the field of surveying for 6 years.

Montana was born and raised in East Texas, graduating from Linden- Kildare High School. After High School she moved to College Station, TX where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) from Texas A&M University. Because of her passion for real estate, the outdoors, and helping individuals meet their needs, after graduating Montana went on to obtain her real estate license. With her passion for real estate and her knowledge of GIST, she is able to provide useful information to landowners about their property, and what makes it desirable to others.  With GIST she is also able to know the ideal audience to target in order to have the most successful marketing plan, and in turn provide a great transaction for both buyers and sellers.

Since graduating college she has worked in the United Country | Double Creek Land and Homes Office. Montana has had her Real Estate license since 2020, listing and selling hunting land, country homes with acreage, and secluded getaway properties. 

Caleb and Montana have been married since February of 2020. Outside of work they enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, doing DIY projects, gardening, and spending time with family. They are members of Cross Creek Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas.  They love teaching their 1^st and 2^nd grade Sunday school class as well as being a part of a young adult group at their church, and attending a weekly bible study group with members of their community.
