Byron has been actively involved in the Auction business since 1978 and has been a licensed Realtor since 2000. In 2005 Byron earned his Brokers license for Iowa and Nebraska, and added his South Dakota Brokers license in 2009. Byron has earned his GRI and CRS Realtor Designations, and is actively involved in the Southwest Iowa and Iowa Association of Realtors organizations. He served as the Southwest Iowa Associations President in 2007 and their Realtor of the Year in 2009.  In 2011 the Iowa Association of Realtors recognized him with their "Realtor Good Neighbor Award", and in 2017 was presendted with their highest honor, the OG Powell/Joan Ballentine Lifetime Achievement   award.  Byron will serve as the Treasurer for the Iowa Association of Realtors in 2019. 

Byron is a recognized leader in the sale of Farm Land, Recreational Land, Acreages, Residential and Commercial properties throughout Southwest Iowa and Southeast Nebraska, and has become more active in the sale of Farmland and Recreational properties in South Dakota.
