A family legacy with a strong work ethic. In 1974 Phil McPhail I started McPhail Realty (no United Country Lifestyle Properties of Maine) with an office attached to his home in Howland, Maine. In the mid-80's Phil moved the office to Lincoln. 

In 2012 Peter and his Brother Phil took over the operations of the company. They purchased a United Country Real Estate franchise and have expanded with locations in Bangor and Lubec. 

Peter is a 1991 graduate of Husson University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in finance. He holds the Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS)— only 3% of REALTORS have this elite designation — and the Accredited Land Consultant designation (ALC)— less than 1% of REALTORS have been awarded this coveted designation.

With 30 years of full-time experience, Peter has negotiated hundreds of real estate transactions. Strong negotiating skills, real estate-specific education, and a strong work ethic are the three pillars Peter uses to best represent the real estate needs of his clients. 

When not working, Peter spends time enjoying the many outdoor recreational opportunities that Maine has to offer.
