Hello my name is April Gallagher and welcome.
While all of the skills and knowledge employed in handling a real estate transaction are vital to success, I believe the first step in helping either a buyer or a seller is to understand their wants, needs, and goals. That requires listening, asking the right questions, and of course – providing clear and honest answers to their questions. In other words, good communication is key.
Next I give them the information they need to move through the process of buying or selling a home with the least possible stress or uncertainty. My belief is that knowledge of today’s market leads to good decisions. I educate and inform my clients throughout the whole process. When clients know what to expect at each step along the way, it makes the entire transaction more enjoyable and less stressful for everyone.
My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is the opportunity to become acquainted with so many interesting people and helping them realize their dreams and goals. I respect and understand the fact that this isn’t like any other purchase or sale that you make in your lifetime – unless you’re an investor, your home is where you live and possibly raise your family, and for most it is the biggest and most expensive purchase of our lives. I know that being a part of such an important decision making process is a huge responsibility and I take my career very seriously. I try to have empathy for the emotion that goes into buying or selling a home. I understand that this is not just a business transaction this is a big decision that leads to a huge change in people’s lives and I want my clients to know that they have made the right decision and continue to believe that days, months, and years after the transaction is complete.
I am a Texas native who came to Deming with my husband Brendan and our three children Clare, Kaylyn (KK) and Cody in 2007. I am very involved in the community, my church, and my children’s school and extra-curricular activities. The whole Gallagher Family is proud to call Deming home and we have settled here and made so many wonderful friends. We look forward to many wonderful years ahead of us here in Deming.
Today I try and make a difference and gains personal satisfaction from helping my clients reach their dreams of home ownership – or of selling and moving on to life's next adventure. Nothing for me is more satisfying than being next to a new home owner or seller at the closing table and seeing a smile on their face because I helped make this process as stress free and exciting as possible for them and everyone involved.
